MIDAELAST EKP 5500 is an exposed top layer. MIDABIKRO EPP 4.0 is an underlay or intermediate layer. The two MIDA SELF membranes are flame-free lower layers, while the Standard and Residential collections belong to pitched shingle roofing.

A membrane can be exposed, buried within a multi-layer system or self-adhered over a sensitive substrate. The finish, reinforcement, flexibility and application method must match that position.

Polyester-reinforced elastomeric bitumen cap sheet for new roofs, refurbishment and waterproofing of engineering structures. It is not a single-layer membrane.
UNDERLAY / INTERMEDIATE LAYER
MIDABIKRO EPP 4.0
Polyester-reinforced bitumen membrane for lower or intermediate positions in new roofs, refurbishment and compatible below-ground waterproofing. Not for single-layer roofing.
SELF-ADHESIVE UNDERLAY
MIDA SELF PV S2,0s
Polyester-reinforced elastomeric membrane for the lower or intermediate layer. The sanded upper surface distinguishes its interface from the film-faced alternative.

Polyester-reinforced elastomeric underlay with a film upper surface and siliconised release film below. Not for exposed or single-layer application.

Neither product is an exposed top layer or a single-layer roofing membrane. The upper surface must also be compatible with the next layer and the approved installation method.

A modified-bitumen shingle family developed for residential roofs, with enhanced flexibility for complex roof geometry and cold-weather installation conditions.

Underlay continuity beneath the shingle covering.
MIDA SELF PRO is a polyester-reinforced self-adhesive underlay for lower or intermediate positions. Within shingle work it is used at critical zones such as valleys and eaves and can form part of a broader underlay strategy.
