A high-performance underlay cannot compensate for an open overlap, an unsealed cable or an internal vapour-control layer that stops at the wall. This range is organised by control-layer responsibility so that the field areas and the details can be selected together.

Not for full boarding. In an insulated roof it requires at least a 50 mm ventilation gap and must not touch the insulation.Its lower vapour permeability changes the roof build-up: insulated applications require a ventilated void, the foil must not contact the insulation, and it is not intended for fully boarded roofs. That difference must stay visible at selection and installation stage.
Choose by moisture strategy—not by the word “vapour barrier”.
Active, reinforced and reflective layers carry different Sd values and different responsibilities. The design should account for construction type, internal humidity, drying potential and junction continuity.

Fast-drying spray primer for loose, absorbent, fibrous, sandy or otherwise difficult surfaces before compatible tapes and sealants.
Loose, dusty, fibrous or absorbent surfaces may need Eurovent PRIMER before compatible tapes or sealants. The substrate must still be stable, dry and clean, and material compatibility must be checked before full application.
Inside controls air and vapour. Outside manages weather and drying.
Window tapes, EPDM strips and formed collars are not accessories to add at the end. They are the components that carry the control layers through changes in material and geometry.
