The product family must match the responsibility of the roof.
Diamond and Emerald are not presented as a merchant line. They sit in the higher-specification route. Ruby is the merchant family, Libero is the value option, and BondStoper carries a distinct professional single-layer role.
More than 200,000 m² of membranes supplied.
This is the rounded cumulative volume of Ravago bituminous membranes supplied through the current range. It reflects the scale of product experience—not a claim that every square metre was personally installed.
20-YEAR SYSTEM ROUTE
Diamond + Emerald
Emerald underlay and the exposed Diamond cap-sheet family form the higher-specification route within the supplied range. The complete build-up—not one roll—must be approved for the project.
SINGLE-LAYER SYSTEM
BondStoper
A professional elastomeric bituminous route for suitable new roofs, terraces and refurbishment work where a defined single-layer system is appropriate.
REGULAR MERCHANT RANGE
Ruby Series
The merchant-focused family for routine roofing supply. Reinforcement, surface finish and position within the roof still determine which exact Ruby variant belongs in the build-up.
COST-CONSCIOUS ROUTE
Libero
A lower-cost family for price-sensitive work. Value positioning does not remove the need to verify substrate, layer role, compatibility, detailing and the minimum required performance.
“20-year system” describes an approved route—not an automatic promise.
The Diamond + Emerald route should only be described as a 20-year system where the exact build-up, substrate, installation, inspection, documentation and project registration meet the current approval requirements.
Thickness, reinforcement, surface finish, attachment and accessory choices are controlled by the current project documents. They should not be inferred from the family name alone.
Flame-free layers have different jobs.
The aluminium-faced vapour control layer and the polyester underlay are not interchangeable. Each occupies a defined position in a compatible warm-roof or hybrid assembly.
RAVAPROOF STICKY VB AL
A self-adhesive aluminium-faced air and vapour control layer installed below the insulation. It is not the exposed primary roof waterproofing.
ROLE: BELOW INSULATIONRAVAPROOF RAVASTICKY P
A self-adhesive SBS polyester underlay used as a lower or intermediate waterproofing layer within a compatible flame-free or torch-safe hybrid build-up.
ROLE: BELOW COMPATIBLE CAP SHEETThe exact assembly and warranty route must be confirmed against the current system documents.
Primer is a system component—not a universal black liquid.
Preparation affects bond, curing, compatibility and the behaviour of every layer above it.
LACSUBSTRATE PREPARATION
One-component solvent-based preparation.
AREXOL LAC is used to prepare suitable substrates before compatible bituminous membrane work. It must not be treated as interchangeable with a water-based primer.
- Confirm substrate dryness, cleanliness and suitability.
- Observe coverage, drying time and ventilation requirements.
- Check solvent compatibility with insulation and adjacent materials.
- Do not allow it to substitute for correct repair or surface preparation.
Six checks before a product name becomes a roof system.
The route is narrowed by responsibility, risk and documentation before individual rolls are selected.
- 01REQUIRED ROUTE
Is the project following a controlled 20-year system route, a professional single-layer solution, merchant stock or a value build-up?
- 02SUBSTRATE + TORCH RISK
What is the deck, what remains in place, and where must a flame-free or controlled-flame sequence be used?
- 03LAYER RESPONSIBILITY
Is the product acting as vapour control, underlay, exposed cap sheet, single-layer waterproofing or preparation?
- 04FINISH + REINFORCEMENT
Do the carrier, coating, surface finish and flexibility match the position and expected movement?
- 05PRIMER COMPATIBILITY
Is the preparation product suitable for the substrate, membrane adhesive route and adjacent materials?
- 06CONTROLLED DOCUMENTS
Have current TDS, DoP, fire information, inspection and warranty requirements been checked for the exact assembly?
Support from system selection to pre-warranty inspection.
Match membrane family, attachment and layer sequence to the roof construction.
Clarify preparation, overlaps, detailing and the responsibilities of each component.
Review installation at defined stages before critical work is concealed.
Coordinate current technical data and the requirements of an approved warranty route.
This page maps the current supplied product families and their intended roles. It is not a product catalogue, installation manual, unconditional warranty statement or project specification. Exact variants, current TDS and DoP documents, fire performance, compatibility, approved build-up and warranty requirements govern each project. The name RAVAPROOF RAVASTICKY P — 3 mm is recorded here as the current supplied-range designation and should be checked against the controlled TDS when available.
